
On this page you will find the guidelines for for Ms.Ransom's Natural Science class end of the year science project. This rubric will be used to assess student ability to adequately apply natural science in a real world environment. This is the rubric that is required to be used for grading all science projects in Duval County. In addition to following this rubric there is also a scholarly reqource criteria that has been added on by Ms. Ransom to ensure that scientific research is adequately supported.
Learning Goal: Students will be able to conduct a scientific experiment using the scientific method.

At the end of this project, students will be able to create a hypothesis based upon their own science project.

At the end of this project, students will be able to identify the independent and dependent variable of their science project.

At the end of this project, students will be able to create a report that specifies their scientific process, using the scientific method for guidance.

Additional Research Requirement

Students are required to incorporate 3 written sources to support their scientific research. At least one of these articles must be a scholarly reviewed article.
