Learning Goal:

Students will be able to identify the different parts of a scientific experiment.

This activity will encourage students to explore and apply the information they have learned from the, "What is the Scientific Method?" lesson to a virtually simulated science experiment. 

     Learning Objectives:

 

  • At the end of this activity, students will be able to identify the hypothesis of an example science project.

  • At the end of this activity, students will be able to identify the independent and dependent variable of an example science project.

  • At the end of this activity students will be able to organize the steps of an example science experiment, based upon the scientific method.

Activity

This activity invites students to apply the information they learned in the,"What is the Scientific Method?" lesson.
